BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

SELF-SCREEN using BC COVID symptom self-assessment (REQUIRED)

Stay home if you have travelled to another province/country in the last 14 days, have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or if you have any flu-like symptoms. (Screening will happen a day before your appointment & when you arrive at the clinic.)

BE HONEST ABOUT your COVID-19 screen.

Don’t hesitate to RESCHEDULE if you are not feeling well on the day of your appointment. We will be relaxing our 24 hour cancellation policy at this time for flu-like symptoms.

 

CONFIRMING APPOINTMENT

Your RMT will contact you by phone or email the day before your appointment to confirm that you completed & passed your BC COVID symptom self-assessment. Please be prepared to accept a call from a private number that day as we may not be able to contact you from the clinic.

USE YOUR WASHROOM BEFORE ARRIVAL

Washrooms are now for hand-washing and emergency use only.


 

PACK A CLEAN MASK FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT


 

COME ALONE unless you require assistance or are accompanying a minor. Assistants must also go through BC COVID symptom self-assessment & bring a clean mask.

 

LEAVE EXTRA BELONGINGS AT HOME

 

 

ONCE YOU ARE HERE

 

ARRIVE ON TIME  We will unlock our clinic door a couple of minutes before your appointment. If you are early, please wait outside the building.


 

MAINTAIN SAFE DISTANCING ANYWHERE IN THE CLINIC

HAND HYGIENE will be performed by you & your therapist as soon as you enter.

RESCREEN. COVID-19 symptom and travel assessment will be repeated and your treatment will continue or be rescheduled based on your answers.

 

YOUR THERAPIST WILL BRING YOU into the treatment room.

 

RISKS & BENEFITS of massage therapy will be discussed & your informed consent is required.

WEAR YOUR MASK   We can provide you with a mask for $2 if you forgot to bring it.

 

                   

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT


 

PAYMENT VIA E-TRANSFER, DEBIT OR CREDIT

PAYING BY e-transfer? Please pay before the treatment to enable receipt of e-transfer by end of session.

TAP DEBIT OR CREDIT PAYMENTS in reception area following your treatment.

 

WE WILL PROVIDE an envelope for your receipt or you can bring your own.

MINIMIZING THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE  SPACE 

 

Maintaining 2 meter distance / Furniture rearranged / Bringing you straight into the treatment room / Spacing out appointments between patients / Separate desks and devices     

  

 

ENHANCED SANITIZATION & HYGIENE

Hand washing/sanitizing before, after (& if necessary during) each treatment

 

Keeping hand sanitizer available throughout the clinic

Offering fabric cloths to prevent touching of faces

 

Sanitizing all contact surfaces in treatment rooms between each treatment (chairs, stools, massage table, face cradle, desks, wall beside coat hooks, doors)

 

Single use of all linens (sheets, face covers, blankets, cloths for faces & doors)

 

Appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, face shields, gowns or aprons

 

Frequent sanitization of high touch surfaces in clinic & washrooms (doors, door handles, light switches, washroom keys, faucets, payment system, countertops)
